ARTIST STATEMENT

My name is Gracie Hayne. Im a freshman and im in Photography 1 this semester. There were many chances to get creative and go out and explore and find pictures. For my pictures I tended to take shots of my family and friends. I like being outside so i tried to go out and finding interesting backgrounds in nature. Most of my pictures are of things that I enjoy or people that are important to me. I liked take pictures of my family and friends because I liked being able to make the photo look how I wanted it to look. While taking pictures I made sure to take pictures that if I was the audience I would be interested in or I would want to keep.
